Our Philosophy

A More Private Approach to Withdrawal Care.

HomeDetoxMD was built on a simple premise: medical care of this nature deserves attention, discretion, and continuity. Rather than moving patients through a program, the practice works with a limited number of individuals at a time so that each treatment plan reflects a single person's medical circumstances.

Communication is handled quietly. Care is delivered one-on-one. Physician-led decisions guide every stage, and professional standards are maintained throughout.

About the Physician

Experienced Medical Leadership. Personal Attention.

HomeDetoxMD care is directed by a board-certified Family Medicine physician with 26 years of medical experience and extensive experience in Emergency Medicine. His clinical background includes acute evaluation, stabilization, urgent care, and the management of patients in high-volume emergency settings.

The practice is built around discretion, individualized attention, and physician-led medical oversight. To preserve the privacy central to the HomeDetoxMD model, the physician maintains a private professional profile. Additional credentials can be discussed during a confidential consultation.

Medical Appropriateness

Home Detox Is Not Appropriate for Everyone.

The first step is a confidential medical consultation. Our physician will evaluate your circumstances and determine whether home-based withdrawal management may be appropriate or whether a higher level of care should be considered.

Home-based withdrawal management is not appropriate for everyone. All care is individualized and provided only after a medical evaluation determines that home-based treatment may be clinically appropriate. Patients who require emergency, hospital, or a higher level of care will be directed accordingly.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions.

What is in-home medical detox?

In-home medical detox is withdrawal management provided in a patient's residence under the direction of a physician. Care is individualized and may include medical supervision, monitoring, medications, and supportive therapies when medically appropriate. It is offered only to patients for whom a medical evaluation determines home-based care may be suitable.

How do I know if home detox is appropriate for me?
